Oil Painting class
Took a 'wet on wet' Bob Ross Joy of Painting class. I love to draw and used to be a good art student and am fairly artistic. I need to learn more about lighting, brush holding and mixing. I loved the class. Very relaxing. In 3 hours you leave with a completed painting. Actually about 2-1/2 hours you are complete.
They don't photograph with a flash well, but you can see it. Its a 10x13.

Someone has to be very brave, comfortable with what they like, not care what others think...
all this and creative. It works for this kitchen somehow. (as i look into my kitchen...no it won't)
Check out that stove. When you have this much money, you can have it repainted every couple of months!

Locker Romper Room
Coach invited parents to the locker room tonight to adorn helmets with new decals and stripes.

Legacy

The word has also been known to mean 'what we leave behind'. That means not just our fortunes, debts, personal belongings or families. It means what we have sown in life.
Its not exclusive to our successes. It also includes our failures. You cannot pick the good and throw out the bad. It comes to us hand in hand. You can save the world one day and be put on a pedestal. The next day, make a huge mistake and the pedestal is not only no longer there, but cannot be earned back, no matter the good you do.
So, remember. We are all accountable for our actions. Our actions dictate our legacy.

Painted Shutters
You can see in the prior post, my shutters where a very faded red.
They are now a nice shiny black.
Painted them with Krylon Fusion for plastic and it went on great and dried fast. Had the help of a dear friend or I couldn't have done all 14 by myself!
Someday will replace the roof shingles with a dark charcoal, and will look very nice :)

IS BAAAAACK.......and you know what? The guy will be 42 this year.There's a creep factor for me, as a mom of sons, oggling young actors.
(Paul Walker is like late 30s so even that seem 'ok'- any over 35 is allowable!)

I'm painting all the hardware on my cabinets 'oil rubbed bronze'.
The paint really isn't mustard (on bottom wainscoat) its Opulent.
(but if you lick it I think it tastes like mustard! :)
